Iliensines A and B: Two new C19-diterpenoid alkaloids from Delphinium iliense

Two new C-19-diterpenoid alkaloids, iliensines A (1) and B (2) were isolated from the entire plant of Delphinium iliense, together with eight known compounds (3-10). The structures were determined through extensive spectroscopic analyses, including 1D, 2D NMR, and HR-ESI-MS. Iliensine A (1) is the first example of a natural diterpene alkaloid containing a glucose group. Compounds 1, 2, 3, 6 and 9 were evaluated for cytotoxicity against HCT116 and HepG2 human cancer cell lines. (C) 2016 Phytochemical Society of Europe. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
