Type studies of some Cystodermella (Agaricales, Basidiomycota) species

Morphologial and molecular studies of the type specimens of five Cystodermella taxa (C. adnatifolia, C. cristallifera, C. lactea, C. myriadocystis, C. cinnabarina f. nogalesii) and Cystoderma castellanum revealed Cystodermella lactea and C. myriadocystis to be synonyms of C. cinnabarina, and Cystoderma castellanum to be a synonym of Cystodermella granulosa. A new record of C. cristallifera from Costa Rica is reported.
