This article investigates the impact of zeolite framework topology on catalyst performance and proposes new strategies for improved material design.
The commercial catalysts currently used to mitigate NOx emissions from diesel vehicles are based on copper-exchanged zeolites with the CHA and AEI structures. In this issue of Chem Catalysis, DeLuca et al. investigate how zeolite framework topology affects catalyst performance, providing new strategies for the design of improved materials.
