Mobile health (mHealth) interventions in prostate cancer survivorship: a scoping review

Motolani E. Ogunsanya et al.

Summary: This scoping review explores the application of mHealth technology in prostate cancer (CaP) management. Most apps are used for supportive care roles during radiotherapy and androgen deprivation therapy treatment, mainly for assessing outcomes and managing patient-reported symptoms. There is a lack of attention to implementation and scale-up issues in research considering mHealth application in CaP.

A systematic review of proxy-report questionnaires assessing physical activity, sedentary behavior and/or sleep in young children (aged 0-5 years)

Jelle Arts et al.

Summary: Valid and/or reliable questionnaires assessing 24-h movement behaviors in 0- to 5-year-olds are lacking. High-quality studies are therefore required to develop proxy-report questionnaires and evaluate their measurement properties.

Demographic Correlates of Movement Behaviors in Infants: A Longitudinal Study

Zhiguang Zhang et al.

Summary: This study examined the associations between demographic correlates and movement behaviors in infants. The findings suggest that infant age, parental age, parental education, sibling count, and infant ethnicity are related to different movement behaviors in infants. No associations were found for infant sex, nonparental care time, and parental marital status.

Complementary Feeding Practices among Young Children in China, India, and Indonesia: A Narrative Review

Outi Sirkka et al.

Summary: Under- and overnutrition are significant health issues in several Asian countries, with poor complementary feeding practices being a major contributor. This review focuses on China, India, and Indonesia, which have high rates of stunting and overweight. The findings reveal inadequate timing and variety of complementary feeding, as well as a lack of nutrient-dense foods. These practices increase the risk of energy and nutrient gaps, exacerbating the double and triple burden of malnutrition in these countries.

Prevalence of Complementary Feeding Indicators and Associated Factors Among 6-to 23-Month Breastfed Infants and Young Children in Poor Rural Areas of China

Jing Liu et al.

Summary: This study aimed to estimate the status of complementary feeding (CF) among 6-23-month breastfed infants and young children in China and found that while the introduction of solid or semi-solid food was high, meeting the requirements of non-dairy animal source food and minimum acceptable diet (MAD) was relatively low. Factors positively associated with meeting MAD requirements included age of the child, parents' education level, paternal employment, and parents' nutrition knowledge, while factors negatively associated included diarrhea and maternal employment at 2 weeks. The government should implement appropriate CF programs with consideration of food availability.

Interventions to improve infant and young child feeding practices in Ethiopia: a systematic review

Kedir Y. Ahmed et al.

Summary: In Ethiopia, community-level and health facility interventions have shown to improve early initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, and/or minimum dietary diversity. Combined interventions have greater impact in improving early initiation of breastfeeding, minimum dietary diversity, and minimum meal frequency compared to single interventions.
