Impression of nonlinear radiation and Stefan blowing on the magneto cross nano-Williamson fluid above exponentially stretching sheet

Musharafa Saleem et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impacts of mixed convection, electromagnetic force, and nonlinear thermal radiation on the nano-Williamson fluid on an exponential stretched surface in a porous medium. The effects of heat absorption-generation, Joule heating, Stefan blowing, Brownian motion, and thermophoresis factors are considered. The study converts the non-linear partial differential equations into ordinary differential equations for numerical solution. The graphical arrangements reveal the effects of relevant factors on the velocity, nanoparticles-concentration, and temperature distributions.

R. Mahesh et al.

Summary: This study investigates the influence of radiation on the MHD couple stress hybrid nanofluid flow over a porous sheet. The mathematical model consists of nonlinear partial differential equations, which are transformed into ordinary differential equations using similarity variables. Analytical solutions in the form of hypergeometric functions are obtained, validating the existing classical results. Graphs are used to provide physical insights on the effects of MHD, mass transpiration, Eckert number, couple stress, porosity, and thermal radiation on velocity and temperature profiles.

Influence of Thermophoresis and Brownian Motion of Nanoparticles on Radiative Chemically-Reacting MHD Hiemenz Flow over a Nonlinear Stretching Sheet with Heat Generation

S. Mohammed Ibrahim et al.

Summary: This study investigates a radiative MHD stagnation point flow over a nonlinear stretching sheet with thermophoresis and Brownian motion. By using a similarity method, the governing partial differential equations are transformed into a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs), and the effects of heat generation and chemical reaction on the flow field are analyzed. The Homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to explain the related mechanisms. The results show that an increase in the magnetic and velocity exponent parameters leads to a decrease in fluid velocity, while thermophoresis and Brownian motion enhance specific thermal effects. Additionally, as the Brownian motion parameter increases, the concentration values decrease.

Effects of thermophoresis and Brownian motion for thermal and chemically reacting Casson nanofluid flow over a linearly stretching sheet

Summary: This research explores the steady laminar flow of nanofluid on a two-dimensional boundary layer using heat transfer of Casson across a linearly stretching sheet. The study examines the influence of Prandtl number, Brownian motion parameter, Lewis number, thermophoresis, and Casson fluid parameter on the nanoparticle concentration profiles, velocity, and temperature. The results show that the temperature increases as Nt and Nb increase, causing thickening of the thermal boundary layer. Additionally, it is observed that the temperature profile increases for higher values of the Brownian motion parameter, and the energy distribution grows with an increment in the values of the thermophoresis parameter.
