Association Between Pain and Fall Worry Among Community-Dwelling Older People With Cognitive Impairment in the United States

Summary: This study aimed to explore the impact of shoulder pain and fear of falling on transfer quality and assess the feasibility of non-level transfers. The results showed that shoulder pain was associated with decreased quality in uphill transfers and increased fear of falling. Non-level transfers from the floor to a table were found to be feasible in clinical or laboratory settings.
