Contrast-Enhanced Ultrasonography-Based Hepatic Perfusion for Early Prediction of Prognosis in Acute Liver Failure

Hidekatsu Kuroda et al.

Summary: Hepatic perfusion in patients with ALF was analyzed using Doppler ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound, revealing that the time interval between the time to peak of hepatic artery and liver parenchyma accurately predicts the outcome in patients with ALF. This finding suggests that TI (HA, LP) may be useful in clinical decision making for ALF patients.

CT perfusion for response evaluation after interventional ablation of hepatocellular carcinoma: a prospective study

Mohamed Fouad Osman et al.

Summary: The study confirmed the feasibility of using CT perfusion to assess response to TACE and RFA in HCC patients, with BV, MTT, and PS perfusion parameters showing high sensitivity and specificity in TACE treatment, while BF and BV perfusion parameters showing high sensitivity and specificity in RFA treatment.

Making timely remedial measures after TACE based on the results of cone-beam CT liver perfusion

Zhaonan Li et al.

Summary: The study evaluated the feasibility and safety of using CBCT to measure changes in PBV in HCC patients after TACE and guide MWA for residual tumors. Results showed that larger residual PBV volume post-MWA was negatively correlated with LTP, while decreasing PBV was positively correlated with LTP. A residual PBV > 13 ml/1000 predicted shorter OS and LTP.
