Nanobarcodes offer security and distribution tracking for labeled food goods. This article discusses current advances in nanotechnology in food-tech, packaging, security, and product enhancement, as well as various synthesis methods. Nanotechnology holds great potential for future advancements in food packaging with new nanomaterials and nanosensors.
