Approach to housing justice from a capability perspective: bridging the gap between ideals and policy practices

The capability approach to justice has potential to address issues in conventional policy approaches, but its practicality remains uncertain. This article proposes ways to bridge the gap between the capability approach and housing policy practices, and suggests guiding housing policy based on changes in unjust housing situations in terms of people's capability for housing.
