Predicting reposting latency of news content in social media: A focus on issue attention, temporal usage pattern, and information redundancy

Lu Guan et al.

Summary: This study examined the factors influencing user's reposting latency of news contents on social media, finding that issue attention, temporal usage pattern, and information redundancy have different impacts on reposting speed. Multiple issues may distract user's attention, a distributed temporal usage pattern can help shorten reposting time, while information redundancy and overload could increase reposting latency.
