The effects of sexual harassment training on proximal and transfer training outcomes: A meta-analytic investigation

Summary: The study found that the largest impact of SH training was on declarative knowledge learning (delta = 1.06), followed by attitude change (delta = 0.41), procedural knowledge-skills learning (delta = 0.39), and transfer outcomes (delta = 0.14). Significant moderating effects were found for scope of training, instructional method, and gender of trainees, but the results varied by training outcome.

Summary: This study investigates the interaction among leaders' gender roles, leader sex, and subordinates' perceived leader competence, and how it influences leader effectiveness through subordinates' affective trust. The study finds that high perceived competence benefits female leaders and penalizes them to a greater extent when perceived competence is low.
