What is Value? Results of a Survey of Cancer Patients and Providers

Summary: This study measured the importance patients with gastrointestinal cancer and health care providers place on treatment outcomes, quality of life, and costs, and compared their views. The results showed discrepancies in the perception of value between patients and providers. Patients' values differed across their treatment and survivorship course.
