Yu Gao et al.

Summary: This study examines the mediating and moderating roles of psychological safety (PS) in the relationship between work-related leader-member exchange (LMX)/non-work-related supervisor-subordinate guanxi (SSG) and employee affective commitment (AC). The results show that both LMX and SSG have positive effects on employee AC, with LMX having a stronger effect. PS partially mediates the influence of LMX/SSG on AC and negatively moderates the influence of LMX on AC, while it does not moderate the influence of SSG on AC.
