Stability analysis and implication of Darcy magnetic-radiative hybrid reactive nanofluid heat transfer over a shrinkable surface with Ohmic heating

Dulal Pal et al.

Summary: This study focuses on Al2O3-Cu/water-based hybrid nanofluid and addresses the heat-mass transfer issue over a Darcy shrinkable surface with magnetic field and thermal radiation effects. Various factors such as variable thermal conductivity, Joule dissipation, chemical reaction with velocity, and thermal slip condition are considered. The governing equations are solved numerically, and the results show the existence of multiple solutions. The influences of parameters on velocity, temperature, skin friction coefficient, local Nusselt number, and Sherwood number are analyzed. The findings have important implications for industrial applications in terms of optimizing heat transmission and enhancing industrial growth.

Magnetohydrodynamics tangent hyperbolic nanofluid flow over an exponentially stretching sheet: Numerical investigation

Muhammad Amjad et al.

Summary: This article presents a numerical study on the flow of tangent hyperbolic nanofluid across an exponentially stretched sheet. The effect of heat transfer in two situations, prescribed exponential order surface temperature (PEST) and prescribed exponential order heat flux (PEHF), is considered. Tangent hyperbolic nanofluid is widely used in cooling electronic components and has improved thermal conductivity, which helps dissipate heat more effectively.

Numerical investigation of MHD flow of hyperbolic tangent nanofluid over a non-linear stretching sheet

Iftikhar Ahmed et al.

Summary: This research investigates the 2D MHD incompressible boundary layer flow of a Hyperbolic Tangent nanofluid across a non-linear stretching plate. The governing partial differential equations are converted into coupled ordinary differential equations using similarity transformations. Numerical solutions for the dimensionless velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles are obtained using the bvp4c routine in MATLAB. The results are validated with published results and the effects of important parameters on the profiles are presented.

Numerical study for improvement the cooling process through a model of Powell-Eyring fluid flow over a stratified stretching sheet with magnetic field

M. M. Khader et al.

Summary: This paper introduces the spectral collocation method based on the Vieta-Lucas polynomials for numerical simulation of the flow of non-Newtonian Powell-Eyring fluid. The focus is on physical characteristics such as thermal radiation, magnetic field, and slip velocity phenomenon. The method is used to convert the problem into a nonlinear system of algebraic equations and solve for the unknown coefficients. The results show that viscosity and slip velocity parameters decrease velocity distribution, while heat generation and thermal conductivity parameters increase temperature distribution.

Numerical Solution of Magnetized Williamson Nanofluid Flow over an Exponentially Stretching Permeable Surface with Temperature Dependent Viscosity and Thermal Conductivity

Muhammad Amjad et al.

Summary: This research investigates Williamson nanofluid flow over an exponentially stretching permeable vertical plate with temperature-dependent thermal conductivity and viscosity. Numerical solutions and graphical representations show that increasing values of the magnetic parameter M, Williamson parameter lambda, and viscosity parameter alpha lead to a decrease in boundary layer thickness of the velocity profile and an increase in the temperature profile.

Heat and mass transfer in MHD Williamson nanofluid flow over an exponentially porous stretching surface

Yi-Xia Li et al.

Summary: This study investigates the rate of heat and mass transfer in MHD Williamson nanofluid flow over an exponentially porous stretching surface, with different conditions of heat transfer. The numerical solutions show that the rate of heat transfer decreases with the increase of Brownian motion parameter, while it increases with the increase of thermophoresis parameter. Moreover, the Sherwood number increases with the rising values of the Prandtl number and Lewis number.

Effects of aligned magnetic field on heat transfer of water-based carbon nanotubes nanofluid over a stretching sheet with homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions

Dulal Pal et al.

Summary: This analysis examines the heat transfer of chemically reactive magnetic-nanofluid over a stretching surface in a porous medium, taking into account nonlinear thermal radiation, variable thermal conductivity, and suction. Using a numerical solution, the study discusses the effects of various parameters on velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction, and local Nusselt number coefficient. The study finds that increased rates of heterogeneous and homogeneous reactions slow nanoparticle concentration distribution, while the presence of variable thermal conductivity and an inclined magnetic field results in decreased heat transfer.

Hall and ion slip effects on magnetohydrodynamic convective rotating flow of Jeffreys fluid over an impulsively moving vertical plate embedded in a saturated porous medium with Ramped wall temperature

M. Veera Krishna et al.

Summary: "The theoretical study investigates the effects of Hall and ion slip on the unsteady MHD rotating flow of a Jeffreys fluid over a vertically moving plate in a porous medium with a ramped temperature profile. Results show that the velocity increases with Hall and ion slip parameters, while magnetic field, Jeffreys fluid, and Prandtl number have a reverse effect. Thermal buoyancy forces, radiation, and mass diffusion also influence the velocity and concentration distributions. Nusselt number decreases with thermal radiation but increases over time, while Sherwood number increases with Schmidt number at the plate but decreases over time."
