Conducting polymers like PPy, PANI, and PEDOT:PSS are significant contributors in supercapacitors, especially when used in composite with graphene hydrogel to create conducting hydrogels for highly efficient and stable flexible supercapacitors. Future research may focus on developing conducting hydrogels with controllable size, morphology, and electrochemical characteristics to advance smart and flexible supercapacitors and promote wearable electronics.

Stratified Zinc-Binding Strategy toward Prolonged Cycling and Flexibility of Aqueous Fibrous Zinc Metal Batteries
