An Information Dissemination Model Based on the Rumor and Anti-Rumor and Stimulate-Rumor and Tripartite Cognitive Game

Qian Li et al.

Summary: This study proposes a tripartite cognitive model of information dissemination based on the symbiosis and antagonism of multiple types of messages, as well as the polymorphism of the user cognitive process under the influence of multimessages. The model describes the coexistence/confrontation relationship and perception of multiple messages, using elements such as the user's state transformation drive force and the information entropy for quantification. The comprehensive macromodel incorporates the tripartite cognitive game and various information dissemination models to provide a comprehensive understanding of the complex cognitive processes involved.

Summary: In this study, a multiple layer spatial information dissemination model based on user awareness is proposed. By considering the differences in user awareness and their impact, the model effectively reveals the influence of different levels of awareness on the dynamics of information dissemination.

A Rumor & Anti-Rumor Propagation Model Based on Data Enhancement and Evolutionary Game

Yunpeng Xiao et al.

Summary: In this paper, a rumor propagation model is proposed to explore the adversarial game relationship between rumor and anti-rumor. By using an unsupervised GAN model and evolutionary game theory, the internal and external factors affecting rumor propagation are comprehensively considered, and a quantitative rumor & anti-rumor mutual influence model is proposed. A simple prediction method of rumor topic group behavior based on a dynamic iteration mechanism is also introduced.

Evolutionary dynamics of higher-order interactions in social networks

Unai Alvarez-Rodriguez et al.

Summary: This study examines the evolutionary dynamics of a public goods game in social systems with higher-order interactions, providing a theoretical framework for studying cooperation in networked groups. The research also demonstrates how the presence of hubs and interactions in groups of different sizes influence the evolution of cooperation, and applies this framework to real-world collaboration data in science and technology to extract the synergy factor's dependence on group size. The work offers a way to boost cooperation in social groups through informed actions.

Minimum Dominating Set of Multiplex Networks: Definition, Application, and Identification

Dawei Zhao et al.

Summary: The article introduces the definition of the minimum dominating set (MDS) in multiplex networks and its applications, and proposes a spin-glass model and belief-propagation equations for solving the MDS problem. It also presents a BP-guided decimation algorithm and a novel leaf-removal strategy for improving accuracy and efficiency. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithms is verified through comparisons with other methods on multiple examples of multiplex networks.

Community lockdowns in social networks hardly mitigate epidemic spreading

Marko Gosak et al.

Summary: Research indicates that community lockdowns are effective only when links outside the communities are virtually completely sealed off, with targeted lockdowns yielding better results than random lockdowns. However, even with over 90% lockdown effectiveness, the peak of the infected curve decreases by only 20% and its onset is delayed by a factor of 1.5.

Mathematical foundations of moral preferences

Valerio Capraro et al.

Summary: One-shot anonymous unselfishness in economic games is commonly explained by social preferences, but recent research shows that it is better explained by preferences for following one's own personal norms. This moral preference hypothesis can be used to increase charitable donations by making the morality of an action salient.
