Upgrading the performance of shell and helically coiled heat exchangers with new flow path by using TiO2/water and CuO-TiO2/water nanofluids

Summary: The importance of efficient energy systems has increased with the development of technology. Shell and helically coiled heat exchangers are widely used in various applications due to their superior specifications. This study aimed to enhance the thermal performance of these heat exchangers using single and hybrid nanofluids, and also analyzed the effect of adding fins. The results showed that both TiO2/water and CuO-TiO2/water nanofluids significantly improved the overall heat transfer coefficient, and the hybrid nanofluid performed better than the single nanofluid. The outcomes also demonstrated the positive impact of integrating fins on performance enhancement.

Process prediction of Ni-SiC coatings based on RBF-BP model

Machine learning for reparameterization of four-site water models: TIP4P-BG and TIP4P-BGT
