Is serum uric acid-to-HDL cholesterol ratio elevation associated with diabetic kidney injury?

Summary: This study aimed to demonstrate the diagnostic role of Uric Acid to HDL ratio (UHR) in diabetic kidney injury (DKI). Retrospective analysis showed that UHR was significantly elevated in DKI patients and correlated with important markers of kidney function. The results suggest that UHR could serve as a diagnostic tool for DKI.
