Summary: This study investigated the effects of vernalization on phytohormone levels and gene expression. The results showed that vernalization significantly changed the levels of abscisic acid (ABA), jasmonic acid (JA), and gibberellic acid (GA). Vernalization inhibited ABA and JA signaling, but promoted GA signaling. Additionally, exogenous ABA and MeJA delayed GA-induced bolting.
