In situ modification of MXene nanosheets with polyaniline nanorods for lightweight and broadband electromagnetic wave absorption

Summary: In this study, MXene/polyaniline (PANI) composites with heterogeneous interfaces were prepared by electrostatic self-assembly process. By adjusting the content of PANI, the composites exhibited improved impedance matching and reflection loss. The introduction of PANI also resulted in a three-dimensional structure, increasing the electromagnetic wave propagation path and providing effective attenuation mechanisms.

Summary: This study develops a free-standing and binder-free N, O-codoped 3D vertical graphene carbon nanofibers electrode with ultra-high silicon content (VGAs@Si@CNFs) through electrospinning, subsequent thermal treatment, and chemical vapor deposition processes. The optimized electrode exhibits excellent conductivity and flexibility, resulting in superior specific capacity, ultralong lifespan, and outstanding rate capability as a free-standing anode for lithium-ion batteries. This work offers an exciting method for developing high-energy-density electrodes for other energy storage devices.

Integrating Dually Encapsulated Si Architecture and Dense Structural Engineering for Ultrahigh Volumetric and Areal Capacity of Lithium Storage

The integration of a dual-encapsulated strategy and dense-structure engineering offers a simple and feasible approach to enhance the volumetric and areal capacity of alloy-based anodes.
