Fourier transform profilometry using single-pixel detection based on two-dimensional discrete cosine transform

Tongxin Li et al.

Summary: In this study, a single-pixel Fourier transform profilometry (FTP) method is proposed for obtaining three-dimensional (3D) maps with few measurements. The method uses digital micromirror devices to generate illumination and sampling patterns, and a single-pixel detector to collect spatial light field. The reflectance image is recovered and the 3D map is reconstructed using the FTP scheme. Experimental results show that the proposed method can achieve accurate 3D reconstructions with significantly reduced number of measurements.

Depth acquisition in single-pixel imaging with multiplexed illumination

Huayi Wang et al.

Summary: This study introduces an efficient depth acquisition method for existing single-pixel imaging systems to obtain reflectance and depth information without additional hardware. It employs a multiplexed illumination strategy and utilizes a convolutional neural network for decoding both spatial and depth information from 1D measurements, reducing sampling ratio and computational complexity significantly. Both simulations and experiments validate the method's effectiveness and efficiency for additional depth acquisition in single-pixel imaging.

Modeling and simulations of a three-dimensional ghost imaging method with differential correlation sampling

Bohu Liu et al.

Summary: A novel method integrating DCS method and a modulated continuous-wave laser source was proposed to improve the quality of depth maps acquired by a 3DGI system. Simulation results demonstrated the feasibility and superior anti-interference performance of the new DCS-3DGI method compared to conventional 3DGI methods.
