Vaccination coverage of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: Challenging issues from an outpatient secondary care setting in Greece

Pneumococcal vaccine coverage in Japan among patients with a history of splenectomy: Results of a retrospective administrative database study

Summary: This study found a low vaccination coverage of PPSV23 after splenectomy in Japan, with only 29.7% of patients receiving the vaccine. Most patients undergoing splenectomy had incidental reasons for the surgery, and the median interval for vaccination post-splenectomy was 1 month.
