Summary: This study investigated the natural occurrence of aflatoxins in dates, pistachios, and walnuts collected from South Punjab, Pakistan. The results showed widespread contamination of these food products with aflatoxins, posing high health risks to consumers. Refrigeration was found to be the most effective method in preventing aflatoxin accumulation.
