The Main Theories on the Pathogenesis of Endometriosis

The pathogenesis of endometriosis is still poorly understood, although several theories have been proposed. Understanding the exact mechanism of the disease is crucial for effective treatment. This review discusses the main pathogenetic theories of endometriosis based on current studies.
