Ginzburg-Landau models of nonlinear electric transmission networks

Emmanuel Kengne et al.

Summary: This article reviews the application of one- and two-dimensional CGL models based on the complex Ginzburg-Landau equations in nonlinear transmission networks. These models generate a variety of analytical and numerical solutions for the propagation of solitons, kinks, and other wave modes. In addition, the article discusses bifurcations of traveling waves in 2D electrical networks, which are distinct from the CGL equations.

On the generation of electrical compact pulses: theory and simulations

Desire Ndjanfang et al.

Summary: This study introduces a self-sustained generator of pulse signal voltages with a compact shape, achieved through the coupling of a modified Colpitts oscillator and a nonlinear electrical transmission line. By analyzing the dynamics and bifurcation diagram of the system, it is shown that the device can exhibit harmonic solutions in certain parameter domains, leading to synchronized dynamics between the oscillator and transmission line, resulting in the generation of compact voltage pulse signals. Analytical and simulation results confirm the circuit's capability to work as a generator of these pulse signals.

New coupled rogue waves propagating backward and forward and modulation instability in a composite nonlinear right- and left-handed transmission line

Djidere Ahmadou et al.

Summary: This study investigates new exact coupled rogue wave solutions of the coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equation in a nonlinear left- and right-handed composite transmission line using the semi-discrete approximation method. The results show the efficiency and robustness of this approximation, as well as the potential applicability to other nonlinear Schrodinger equation systems. The computational analysis reveals the existence of coupled rogue waves in the transmission line, with unstable zones gradually disappearing at low frequencies.
