A 10-Year Retrospective before-and-after Study of Lipedema Surgery: Patient-Reported Lipedema-Associated Symptom Improvement after Multistage Liposuction

Summary: This study retrospectively investigated the clinical outcomes of liposuction in patients with lipedema. The results showed that liposuction can significantly reduce the severity of symptoms and the need for conservative treatment in these patients. Furthermore, younger patients with lower body mass index and earlier stage of the disease had better outcomes.
