Cross-validation and correlation analyses further supported the robustness and clinical relevance of the findings.

Summary: This study explored the glucose metabolic profile of extrapyramidal system in patients with crossed cerebellar diaschisis (CCD) and investigated the metabolic connectivities in cortico-ponto-cerebellar and cortico-rubral pathways associated with CCD. The results revealed that CCD+ patients had significantly lower asymmetry index (AI) in corticoponto-cerebellar and cortico-rubral pathways compared to CCD- patients and the control group. Additionally, AI in contralateral cerebellum exterior cortex was positively correlated with several brain regions among CCD+ patients.

Patients with more previous therapy lines and worse neurotoxicity demonstrated worse neurocognitive performance.

These trends are expected to rise in 2040, with transitioning countries experiencing a larger increase compared to transitioned countries due to demographic changes and risk factors associated with globalization and a growing economy. Efforts to improve cancer prevention measures and provision of cancer care in transitioning countries will be crucial for global cancer control.
