Summary: In this study, a similar text retrieval system was developed using Sentence-BERT (SBERT) for a database of closed medical malpractice claims, and its retrieval accuracy was investigated. Each case in the database was assigned a short Japanese summary of the accident and two labels indicating the category and process. The accuracy of the similar text retrieval system using the trained SBERTs was significantly higher than that of other systems.

Summary: In this study, the semantic search and retrieval problem in biomedical digital libraries is investigated. The authors introduce a method called MedGraph, which is based on knowledge graph embedding and provides semantic relevance retrieval and ranking for biomedical literature. The approach is evaluated by comparing it with PubMed's Best Match algorithm and a traditional TF-IDF-based algorithm. Results show that the semantic approach based on knowledge graph modeling offers better search relevance results in biomedical digital libraries.

Summary: Viscosupplementation with hyaluronic acid (HA) injections is widely used to reduce pain in osteoarthritis (OA). A comparative review of ARTHERUM devices and other equivalent IA HA devices showed that ARTHERUM was as effective if not better in reducing pain and improving function over a six-month period. The risk benefit ratio favored the use of viscosupplementation with ARTHERUM due to good tolerance and efficacy results.
