Sensitivity study of multi-field information maps of typical landslides in mining areas based on transfer learning

Yongguo Zhang et al.

Summary: The main purpose of this study is to analyze the influencing factors of landslides in coal mine areas and establish a sensitivity zoning model. Due to the lack of data, typical landslides in Fenxi and Xishan Bujiu coal mines are used as the basis for training an artificial neural network model. Transfer learning is then applied to establish a mining landslide sensitivity evaluation model. Test results show that transfer learning achieves a transfer effect of over 0.95, indicating its potential for evaluating the LSP model.

Landslide Susceptibility Mapping in Guangdong Province, China, Using Random Forest Model and Considering Sample Type and Balance

Li Zhuo et al.

Summary: Landslides pose a serious threat to human lives and property, and accurate landslide susceptibility mapping is crucial. Machine learning has become an important means for landslide susceptibility mapping, but the accuracy of the models is limited by environmental factors heterogeneity and sample imbalance, especially for large-scale mapping. In this study, an improved random forest-based model was created and applied to Guangdong Province, China. The results show that the model has the best performance with an AUC of 0.9145, and rainfall and topography are the dominant factors in Guangdong landslides.

A Statistical Prediction Model for Healthcare and Landslide Sensitivity Evaluation in Coal Mining Subsidence Area

Ruoxin Ge et al.

Summary: This study compares the results of different methods for landslide susceptibility evaluation in coal mining subsidence areas. Field investigation and remote sensing image interpretation were conducted to determine landslide disaster points and factors affecting landslides. The accuracy of three models was compared using ROC curve analysis, and the FR-LR model based on the FR model was found to have the highest accuracy.

Risk Monitoring Level of Stope Slopes and Landslides in High-Altitude and Cold Mines

Ruichong Zhang et al.

Summary: This study analyzed and summarized the slope deformation index and landslide risk standards of high-altitude and cold stope slopes at home and abroad. By using the unascertained measurement model and the analytic hierarchy process, the Dongbang slope of the Beizhan Iron Mine was chosen as the research object, and nine factors influencing the landslide risk were analyzed. The research results showed that the Dongbang slope in Beizhan Iron Mine has a mild landslide risk, providing reference for risk assessment of high-altitude alpine slopes.

Risk assessment of multi-disaster in Mining Area of Guizhou, China

Ming Chang et al.

Summary: This study proposes a comprehensive evaluation index system to assess the multi-disaster risk in mining areas. The proposed method includes three main steps: spatial probability assessment, hazard assessment, and vulnerability assessment. By validating the model, the likelihood of multi-disaster occurrence in mining areas is determined, providing guidance for emergency response.

Anna Roccati et al.

Summary: In this study, a GIS-based approach and AHP method were used to assess landslide susceptibility in the Portofino promontory based on over 110 years of landslide records. The findings suggest that areas at risk of future landslides are larger than identified in the official map, highlighting the importance of considering potential landslide hazards in land use planning and risk management strategies.
