Integrable crosscaps in classical sigma models

Tamas Gombor

Summary: This paper investigates the integrable boundaries and crosscaps of classical sigma models. It demonstrates the existence of a classical analog of the integrability condition and KT relation for the boundary and crosscap states of quantum spin chains. Moreover, it classifies the integrable crosscaps for various sigma models, including those relevant to the AdS/CFT correspondence at strong coupling.

Integrable domain walls in ABJM theory

Charlotte Kristjansen et al.

Summary: One-point functions of local operators in the presence of a 1/2 BPS domain wall in the ABJM theory are studied at weak and strong coupling. The domain wall, represented by a boundary state in the underlying quantum spin chain, is shown to be integrable, giving rise to a compact determinant formula for one-point functions of generic operators.

Three-point functions in ABJM and Bethe Ansatz

Peihe Yang et al.

Summary: We develop an integrability-based framework to compute structure constants of two sub-determinant operators and a single-trace non-BPS operator in ABJM theory. The results obtained using a nested Bethe ansatz and matrix product states show that the structure constants can be expressed in terms of overlaps. We also provide evidence for the integrability of general sub-determinant operators.

Irrelevant deformations with boundaries and defects

Yunfeng Jiang et al.

Summary: This article initiates the study of T (T) over bar-like irrelevant solvable deformations in quantum field theory with boundaries and defects. A general formalism developed in the context of spin chains is employed to derive the deformed bulk and boundary/defect scattering matrices of integrable models. Using these deformed scattering matrices, the flow equation for the deformed finite volume spectrum, as well as the cylinder partition function and the exact g-function, are derived.

Crosscap States in Integrable Field Theories and Spin Chains

Joao Caetano et al.

Summary: In this paper, we study crosscap states in integrable field theories and spin chains. We derive exact formulas for overlaps and entropies, and find that they generally decrease along the renormalization group flow. We also discuss the applications of crosscap states in quantum quench and their relations to other models.

T(T)over-bar deformations and the width of fundamental particles

John Cardy et al.

Summary: We provide a simple geometric interpretation for deformations of T (T) over bar type in both relativistic and non-relativistic systems. The deformations modify the thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations by a CDD factor, which can be interpreted as additional shifts in scattering processes. We show that this physical effect can be understood as a universal way of understanding T (T) over bar deformations in classical and quantum systems.

T(T)over-bar-deformed 1d Bose gas

Yunfeng Jiang

Summary: This paper studies the finite volume spectrum and thermodynamics of the T(T) over bar-deformed Lieb-Liniger model. The results show that when the volume is smaller than a critical value, the deformed spectrum becomes complex, indicating the breakdown of UV physics for one sign of the deformation parameter. For the other sign, there exists an upper bound for the temperature, similar to the Hagedorn behavior of the T(T) over bar-deformed QFTs. Both behaviors can be attributed to the change in particle size caused by the T(T) over tilde-deformation.

On exact overlaps for gl(N) symmetric spin chains

Tamas Gombor

Summary: This paper studies the integrable two-site states of quantum integrable models that can be solved by the nested algebraic Bethe ansatz and possess a gl(N)-invariant R-matrix. The overlaps between the integrable two-site states and wavefunctions are investigated. Finding exact derivations for the factorized overlap formulas for the nested integrable systems has been a longstanding unsolved problem. In this paper, a derivation for a large class of gl(N) symmetric spin chain integrable states is provided, showing that the normalized overlaps of multi-particle states have factorized forms and demonstrating the agreement between previously proposed overlap formulas and the general formula presented in this study.

Overlaps for matrix product states of arbitrary bond dimension in ABJM theory

T. Gombor et al.

Summary: We derive a closed formula for the overlap between Bethe eigenstates of an alternating SU(4) spin chain, which describes the scalar sector of ABJM theory, and matrix product states representing 1/2 BPS co-dimension one domain walls in the field theory. These overlaps directly determine the one point functions of the defect conformal field theories involved.

New trends in quantum integrability: recent experiments with ultracold atoms

Xi-Wen Guan et al.

Summary: In the past two decades, quantum engineering has made significant progress in creating genuine quantum many-body systems. Some solvable Yang-Baxter systems have been successfully realized and compared with their theoretical solutions. The new experimental developments show various one-dimensional phenomena. This article reviews these developments, provides explanations based on exact solutions, and highlights the uniqueness of one-dimensional quantum physics.

Integrable crosscap states in gl (N) spin chains

Tamas Gombor

Summary: This study focuses on the integrable crosscap states of integrable quantum spin chains and classifies them for gl(N) symmetric models. It also provides a derivation for the exact overlaps between the integrable crosscap states and the Bethe states, showing that the normalized overlaps of multi-particle states are ratios of Gaudin-like determinants. Additionally, it collects integrable crosscap states that may be relevant in the AdS/CFT correspondence.

Geometrizing non-relativistic bilinear deformations

Dennis Hansen et al.

Summary: In this study, three fundamental solvable bilinear deformations for massive non-relativistic 2d quantum field theory are defined and interpreted as coupling the theory to a specific Newton-Cartan geometry. By using gravity formulations, closed-form deformed classical Lagrangians of the Schrödinger model with a generic potential are derived, and the interpretation of dynamical change of coordinates is extended to the non-relativistic case for all three deformations.

On factorized overlaps: Algebraic Bethe Ansatz, twists, and separation of variables

Tamas Gombor et al.

Summary: This study investigates the exact overlaps between eigenstates of integrable spin chains and a special class of states called integrable initial/final states. By deriving new algebraic relations for the integrable states, the study leads to a set of recursion relations for the exact overlaps in the XXX Heisenberg chain and its integrable higher spin generalizations. The integrability condition is further generalized to twisted boundary conditions, and the integrable states are embedded into the Separation of Variables framework to derive alternative representations for the exact overlaps of the XXX chain. The rigorous derivations and proofs provided in this study can serve as the basis for future investigations involving more complicated models.
