Cluster synchronization of delayed coupled neural networks: Delay-dependent distributed impulsive control

A new Halanay-like inequality, accounting for delayed impulses, is proposed. Sufficient conditions for cluster synchronization for delayed CNNs with fixed and switching coupling topology are obtained using Lyapunov theory and the new differential inequality, with corresponding controllers designed. Numerical examples are presented to verify the effectiveness of the results.

A novel event-triggered control protocol was proposed to reduce communication burden and achieve convergence of follower outputs to a neighborhood of the leader's output, while ensuring bounded signals in the closed-loop system. An illustrative simulation example was provided to verify the efficacy of the proposed algorithms.
