Cu-Doping Induced Phase Transformation in CsPbI3 Nanocrystals with Enhanced Structural Stability and Photoluminescence Quantum Yield

Baidyanath Roy et al.

Summary: The doping of divalent Cu ions at the Pb-site of cesium lead iodide (CsPbI3) can improve the structural stability and photoluminescence quantum yield of all-inorganic halide perovskite nanocrystals (HPNCs). By doping at an optimal (5.6%) Cu concentration, the HPNCs undergo structural transformation from a mixed phase to a cubic phase with improved stability. The Cu-doped CsPbI3 HPNCs show a red shift in the absorbance and photoluminescence spectra, making them optically tuneable.

A-Site FA+ Doping-Enhanced Photoluminescence Efficiency and Photostability of Mn-Doped Perovskite Nanocrystals

Zitong Wang et al.

Summary: The addition of an appropriate amount of FA(+) into Mn-doped CsPbCl3 nanocrystals greatly improves their photoluminescence quantum yield and illumination stability. The mixture of FA(+) and Cs+ increases the lattice tolerance, inhibiting Mn2+ ion diffusion and halogen ion segregation.

Improvement of Photophysical Properties of CsPbBr3 and Mn2+:CsPb(Br,Cl)3 Perovskite Nanocrystals by Sr2+ Doping for White Light-Emitting Diodes

Hurriyet Yuce et al.

Summary: This study investigates the effect of B-site doping on the optoelectronic properties of CsPbX3 nanocrystals and finds that a small percentage of Sr2+ doping remarkably improves the photoluminescence quantum yield of perovskite nanocrystals and increases the luminous efficiency of white light-emitting diodes.

Improving the Mn2+ emission and stability of CsPb(Cl/Br)3 nanocrystals by Ni2+ doping in ambient air

Rui Zhang et al.

Summary: The Mn-doped perovskite CsPb(Cl/Br)(3) nanocrystals with NiCl2 doping can enhance the Mn2+ emission by providing enough halide ions and passivating defect states in the perovskite NCs. The Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations confirm that Ni2+ doping can eliminate deep defects in the CsPb(Cl/Br)(3) nanocrystals, improving the stability of the perovskite NCs against electron beam irradiation.

Optical, electrochemical and photocatalytic properties of cobalt doped CsPbCl3 nanostructures: a one-pot synthesis approach

Aadil Ahmad Bhat et al.

Summary: This study successfully synthesized cesium-based halide perovskite nanostructures with cobalt doping, revealing significant effects on their structural, optical, luminescent, charge storage, and photocatalytic properties. Cobalt doping improved the optical behavior and charge storage capability of the perovskite nanostructures, making them visible light active materials with superior catalytic performance in degrading methylene blue dye under visible light conditions.

Fluorescence properties of potassium ions doped CsPbCl3 : Mn perovskite quantum dots

Chang Peng et al.

Summary: Co-doping CsPbCl3 perovskite quantum dots with potassium (K+) and manganese (Mn2+) ions has successfully improved the photoluminescence quantum yield and exhibited dual-color emission. The doping of K+ ions effectively inhibited the formation of defects and Mn-related defects, enhancing the radiative recombination luminescence of carriers in the quantum dots.
