Rotating black holes in Einstein-aether theory

Alexander Adam et al.

Summary: This paper introduces new methods to construct stationary axisymmetric black hole solutions in Einstein-aether theory and analyze their properties. The regularity at different wave mode horizons, such as spin-2, 1, and 0, is a significant technical challenge. The results show that the metric horizon and wave mode horizons are not Killing horizons, and they have null generators which spiral from pole to equator. The study also reveals regions of viable theory with large coupling parameters.

Quantum cosmological perfect fluid models in Einstein aether theory

G. A. Monerat et al.

Summary: This work presents a quantum cosmological Einstein aether model obtained using the Schutz variational formalism. The model describes a spatially flat Universe filled with a barotropic fluid with a specific equation of state. Solutions to the Wheeler-DeWitt equation are obtained through the superposition of stationary quantum states, resulting in finite-norm wave packets. The behavior of the scale factor is studied from the perspectives of many-worlds and de Broglie-Bohm interpretations, indicating the existence of non-singular solutions for certain conditions.

The de Broglie-Bohm Quantum Theory and Its Application to Quantum Cosmology

Nelson Pinto-Neto

Summary: The de Broglie-Bohm quantum theory is an alternative description of quantum phenomena that does not require the collapse postulate and is applicable to cosmological models, which are usually free of singularities.
