Coverage and determinants of protective dose tetanus toxoid vaccine among postnatal women delivered at university of Gondar comprehensive specialized hospital, northwest Ethiopia, 2019

Dereje Nibret Gessesse et al.

Summary: The study found a low proportion of TT protective dose immunization in the study area. Factors such as urban residence, secondary and tertiary levels of the husband's educational status, women who perceived the TT vaccine service as good, and health care workers who had good behavior were found to significantly influence TT protective dose immunization. Strengthening education and empowering women, promoting husband's education, and raising community awareness in rural areas are suggested strategies to increase TT protective dose vaccine utilization.
