One-pot synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimdine derivatives using nano silica phosphoric acid under thermal and solvent-free conditions

Nahid Yaghmaeiyan et al.

Summary: Nano silica phosphoric acid (nano-SPA) was synthesized as a recoverable solid catalyst by reacting nano silica chloride with phosphoric acid. The structure of the catalyst was characterized using various techniques. The synthesized nanoparticles were used for the efficient synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimdine derivatives via a three-component condensation reaction. This environmentally friendly process offers advantages such as short reaction times, simple work-up, easy purification technique, high yields, and solvent-free conditions.

Chiral molecular imprinting-based SERS detection strategy for absolute enantiomeric discrimination

Maryam Arabi et al.

Summary: Chiral discrimination is crucial in environmental and life sciences, but an ideal discrimination strategy has not been developed yet due to nonspecific binding and insufficient optical activities. Researchers propose an inspector recognition mechanism based on chiral imprinted polydopamine and surface-enhanced Raman scattering, allowing for absolute discrimination of various chiral molecules.
