Training satisfaction and well-being among veterinary anaesthesia residents: time for action

Hamaseh Tayari et al.

Summary: The objective of the study was to explore the satisfaction and well-being experienced by anaesthesia residents during their training and investigate influencing factors. The results showed that 62% of respondents were satisfied with their residency training, while 24% were dissatisfied. Factors such as salary/stipend, supervisory input, and working environment were found to be positively correlated with training satisfaction. The majority of trainees experienced negative health impacts, including fatigue, sleep disturbance, and anxiety.
