Genetic analysis of 12 X-short tandem repeats loci in a northern Thai population

Supakit Khacha-ananda et al.

Summary: This study investigated the allele frequencies and forensic parameters of X-STRs in a northern Thai population, revealing high genetic polymorphism in the population. The most diverse loci was DXS10135, while the least polymorphic marker was DXS7423. The northern Thai population showed a close relationship with Taiwanese in genetic distance analysis.

Development and Validation of a Forensic Multiplex System With 38 X-InDel Loci

Ling Chen et al.

Summary: The AGCU X-InDel 38 kit demonstrated high sensitivity, precision, reproducibility, and informativeness for forensic applications. It showed better performance for degraded and trace DNA samples and good tolerance to common inhibitors, while also exhibiting strong discrimination capability through high values of forensic parameters.
