The effects of microtubule stabilizing and recovery agents on vitrified bovine oocytes

Summary: This study aimed to improve meiotic spindle recovery in vitrified bovine oocytes by investigating the effects of treatment with a microtubule stabilizing agent or a microtubule recovery agent. The results showed that treatment with paclitaxel at a certain concentration significantly increased the proportion of oocytes with normal microtubule distribution and chromosome arrangement after warming. Additionally, inhibiting rho-associated coiled-coil kinase activity and accumulation of cysteine and cysteamine also improved meiotic spindle recovery in vitrified oocytes.
