Summary: This study aimed to identify the most commonly used parameters and their efficacy in photobiomodulation therapy for the management of oral mucositis in patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The meta-analysis showed that photobiomodulation therapy significantly decreased the severity of oral mucositis, with a higher protection factor when similar parameters were used.
