Comparative protein analysis of two maize genotypes with contrasting tolerance to low temperature

Summary: In this study, two maize genotypes were analyzed for their response to low temperature stress. Through proteome analysis, 19 differentially regulated proteins were identified in Gurez local and 10 proteins were identified in GM6. The study also discovered three novel proteins induced by low temperature stress, which can contribute to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms behind low temperature stress tolerance in maize.
