Lihua Li et al.

Summary: We report a strategy to fabricate uniform nanosheets with 6-10 layers by introducing aniline as the axial ligand and coordinating it to porphyrin covalent organic framework (COF). These nanosheets exhibit 28 times greater fluorescence for aniline than the pristine COF due to a synergistic effect. Our work not only enables highly efficient turn-up fluorescent sensing of aniline using COF but also provides a strategy for thin-layer nanosheets fabrication.
