Phase engineering of Mo1-x Wx S2 nanosheets for flexible supercapacitors

Han Li et al.

Summary: The atomic size mismatch between Mo and W introduces a large compressive microstrain in MoS2, allowing for phase engineering. Utilizing a one-step hydrothermal method, 1T-Mo0.71W0.29S2 was successfully synthesized, showing improved supercapacitor performance when doped with Co and grown on carbon cloth. The electrode of Co-(1T-Mo0.71W0.29S2)-1% on carbon cloth exhibited high specific capacity and energy density.
