Mesoporous platinum nanozyme-based competitive immunoassay for sensitive detection of 25-hydroxyvitamin D

Colorimetric and Fluorescence Dual-Mode Biosensors Based on Peroxidase-Like Activity of the Co3O4 Nanosheets

Summary: Mimic enzymes have gained attention in recent years due to their high stability, convenient preparation, and low price. This article presents the synthesis of Co3O4 nanosheets with peroxidase-like activity through a simple hydrothermal method. A colorimetric and fluorescence dual detection mode photochemical sensor based on the Co3O4 nanosheets is established for the detection of H2O2 and glucose. The sensor exhibits high sensitivity and strong anti-interference ability.

Mesoporous platinum nanoparticles as a peroxidase mimic for the highly sensitive determination of C-reactive protein

Dual-mode colorimetric and fluorescence sensing system for the detection of captopril based on Fe/NC nanozymes and carbon dots

Summary: Metal nitrogen-doped carbon nanozymes have been widely studied due to their high catalytic activity, stability, and reusability. In this study, Fe/NC nanozymes with peroxidase-like activity were synthesized and used to develop a dual-mode sensing system for quantification of captopril. The system showed excellent linear relationships and detection limits, and satisfactory results were obtained in detecting captopril in pharmaceutical products.

Summary: The study reports the synthesis of citric acid-functionalized ultra-fine bimetallic PtRu alloy nanoparticles (CA@PtRu ANPs) using a simple wet chemical method for the development of a non-enzymatic colorimetric immunoassay for quantifying C-reactive protein (CRP) biomarkers. The developed immunoassay showed rapid and sensitive quantification of CRP levels from 0.01 to 180 μg mL(-1) with a LOD of 0.01 μg mL(-1), indicating potential for rapid point-of-care applications.

Summary: A simple hydrothermal strategy was reported for the synthesis of a bimetallic metal - N-, S-doped carbon (NS-C@PtRu) hybrid derived from L-cysteine-mediated self-assembly of PtRu. The NS-C@PtRu showed excellent peroxidase-like activity and colloidal stability, enabling efficient detection of H2O2 and cholesterol. The results indicated NS-C@PtRu as a highly efficient catalyst for cholesterol detection in serum samples, demonstrating good selectivity and recovery.
