This article presents the Substance Flow Data of Chinese Phosphorus Cycle from 1949 to 2018, including annual data of 825 P flows between natural and anthropogenic processes. The data were calculated using the mass balance principle method and are presented in kt P/yr. The database also includes primary data, functions, and measures of uncertainty. These data are crucial for analyzing the role of P in the resilient water-energy-food security nexus and for applying extended methods.
The Substance Flow Data of Chinese Phosphorus Cycle from 1949 to 2018 presents annual data of 825 P flows transferring between natural and anthropogenic processes. The data were calculated based on the mass balance principle method -- substance flow analysis, with the unit of kt P/yr. The primary data and functions are also included in the database. Measures of the uncertainty of all are shown in the auxiliary dataset. With the data, the role of P in the resilient water-energy-food security nexus can be analyzed. The subsequently extended methods can be applied.
