Sayli M. Narkhede et al.

Summary: This study used machine learning to analyze digital phenotyping measurements and found that negative symptoms can be modeled from digital phenotyping data. Elucidating negative symptoms in the daily life of individuals in the early stages of psychosis

Karlijn S. F. M. Hermans et al.

Summary: The study aimed to investigate the experience of negative symptoms in individuals in the early stages of psychosis. Results showed that altered affective experience, anhedonia, social anhedonia, and asociality seemed to play less of a role in the daily life of individuals with ARMS and FEP than previously assumed. These findings suggest a need for further investigation into changing social situations to prevent the development or worsening of negative symptoms.

The Latent Structure of Negative Symptoms in Individuals With Attenuated Psychosis Syndrome and Early Psychosis: Support for the 5 Consensus Domains

Wing Chung Chang et al.

Summary: The study found that the latent structure of negative symptoms in early psychosis is best conceptualized in relation to a model including the five National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) consensus domains, rather than the typical one or two-factor models. This has important implications for early identification, prevention, and treatment efforts.
