Summary: This study aims to explore whether there are differences in the academic performance of medical students based on their admission type and to assess the predictive power of entrance examinations on their performance. The results showed that regional quota students achieved higher cumulative grade point averages than general admissions students, despite their significantly lower scores on the National Center Test.
