An iron phenylphosphinate@graphene oxide nanohybrid enabled flame-retardant, mechanically reinforced, and thermally conductive epoxy nanocomposites

Summary: An iron phenylphosphinate-functionalized graphene oxide nanohybrid was synthesized and incorporated into epoxy resin to enhance its fire retardancy and mechanical properties. The resulting epoxy nanocomposite exhibited improved fire resistance and tensile strength compared to the pristine epoxy resin. This work provides an innovative strategy for the design of multifunctional epoxy nanocomposites, with great potential for various industrial applications.
