Mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites with randomly dispersed and cross-linked two-dimensional diamond

Chengkai Li et al.

Summary: This study systematically assessed the tensile performance of PMMA nanocomposites reinforced by randomly dispersed diamond fillers using molecular dynamics simulation. It was found that randomly dispersed diamond fillers effectively enhance the tensile properties of PMMA, and the enhancement effect can be further improved by cross-linking. The alignment of diamond fillers also influences the enhancement effect, with better tensile performance observed when the fillers are uniformly aligned.
