Flux-Weakening Controller Design of Dual Three-Phase PMSM Drive System With Copper Loss Minimization

Senyi Liu et al.

Summary: In this article, the accurate fundamental voltage limit considering harmonic current suppression is derived, and two control concepts with corresponding flux-weakening control strategies are proposed and designed using the gradient descent method. The first control strategy enables both the fundamental and harmonic voltage vectors, resulting in larger phase current amplitudes. The second control strategy achieves higher bus voltage utilization with an additional transition stage, but is unable to further suppress harmonic currents in the flux-weakening operation region. Furthermore, a switching scheme is designed to minimize copper loss in this region, and both strategies are successfully implemented in a dual three-phase PMSM.

Dynamic Analysis and FPGA Implementation of a New, Simple 5D Memristive Hyperchaotic Sprott-C System

Fei Yu et al.

Summary: In this paper, a simple seven-term 4D hyperchaotic system based on the classical Sprott-C 3D chaotic system is presented. The system is inspired by a previous study on a simple 4D hyperchaotic system. The paper discusses the limitations of the previous system and proposes an improved 5D memristive hyperchaotic system with hidden attractors. The properties of the new system are analyzed and hardware circuits are realized and verified through experiments.

Memristor-Based Neural Network Circuit With Multimode Generalization and Differentiation on Pavlov Associative Memory

Junwei Sun et al.

Summary: In this article, a multimode generalization and differentiation circuit for Pavlov associative memory is proposed using memristors. The circuit is designed to consider the learning and forgetting processes among multiple neurons, and achieves secondary differentiation. The nonvolatility and thresholding properties of memristors are utilized for multiple generalization and differentiation, while inhibition modules are used for extinction and differentiation inhibition during forgetting.

Time Base Generator-Based Practical Predefined-Time Stabilization of High-Order Systems With Unknown Disturbance

Chaoqun Guo et al.

Summary: This paper investigates a predefined-time stabilization problem for a high-order integrator chain system with an unknown disturbance using a time base generator (TBG) method. A novel TBG function is constructed for a high-order integrator system and a nonlinear coordinate transformation is proposed for the design of the predefined-time controller. The practical predefined-time stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed under the proposed TBG-based controller, and numerical examples are presented to validate the effectiveness of the control strategy.

On the dynamics of a Van der Pol-Duffing snap system

Vinicius Wiggers et al.

Summary: In this paper, an autonomous snap oscillator derived from the Van der Pol-Duffing forced oscillator is proposed and its dynamics are investigated. Through numerical simulations and parameter plane analysis, the chaotic and periodic behavior of the system is explored in certain parameter regions. The basins of attraction and coexisting attractors are analyzed and the stability of equilibrium points is studied analytically.

Adaptive control of time delay teleoperation system with uncertain dynamics

Siyu Lu et al.

Summary: In this paper, a bilateral adaptive control method based on PEB control structure is proposed to study the uncertainty of dynamic parameters and time delay. The stability and tracking performances of the closed-loop constant time delay teleoperation system are analyzed using Lyapunov stability theory. The simulation results show that the proposed method has good control performance.

Chaos and coexisting attractors in replicator-mutator maps

Archan Mukhopadhyay et al.

Summary: The study reveals that mutation in a generation-wise nonoverlapping population during a two-player-two-strategy symmetric game can lead to coexisting stable population states, with the possibility of a chaotic state. By utilizing replicator maps with additive and multiplicative mutations, different possibilities of bistable outcomes are discovered, such as coexistences of fixed point and periodic orbit, periodic orbit and chaos, and chaos and fixed point.
