Interactions between Two Kinds of Gold Nanoclusters and Calf Thymus Deoxyribonucleic Acid: Directions for Preparations to Applications

Zheng-Qi Su et al.

Summary: Gold nanodusters, especially dihydrolipoic acid-protected AuNCs (DHLA-AuNCs) and glutathione-protected AuNCs (GSH-AuNCs), were studied for their interactions with calf thymus DNA (ctDNA) in order to better understand their binding mechanisms and forces. The results showed differences in the binding mechanisms and forces between the two AuNCs and ctDNA, with DHLA-AuNCs exhibiting stronger interactions. The study also highlighted the potential applications of DHLA-AuNCs in imaging, drug treatment, sensing, while GSH-AuNCs were suggested for gene therapy applications.

Medical Image Diagnostic Value of Computed Tomography for Bladder Tumors

Lin Li et al.

Summary: By studying the CT imaging characteristics of 153 cases of bladder tumors, it was found that CT imaging greatly improves the diagnostic rate of bladder tumors. Different types of tumors have different CT imaging features, and the size of bladder tumors is related to the missed diagnosis rate of CT. The application of CT examination technology can improve the accuracy of bladder tumor diagnosis.
